deliver a compassionate travel experience
focused on high level customer service and safety.
With our fleet of vans, mid-size coaches and wheelchair accessible vehicles
combined with the most talented individuals and customer focused training
- we're leading the industry of Health & Human Services Transportation.
We have an outstanding DOT record with an initial pass rate of 90.2% and a
re-inspect rate of 97.1%. The NYS goal for operators is to achieve an 80% pass record
and the State-wide average for large operators is 76.4%. This speaks volumes
for our outstanding in-house maintenance team.
HISTORY:
- Locally owned and family operated for 20 years
- We are creating jobs across our company
- School Bus Division - Erie County contract created new
positions this year due to increase in handicapped children
under the age of five needing services. Added Maryvale School
District contract. Created aggressive new marketing plan for
Maryvale bus drivers to do charter work during previous downtime.
Took previous years part-time Maryvale drivers and made them into
full-time school bus/tour charter drivers with benefits.
Through an innovated initiative, we convinced charter schools,
the Head Start Teen Program and others to create a shared bus
program coordinated by "We Care" instead of having parents provide rides.
- Leisure Division - There were no motor coach companies in Erie
County. When we created this division, we created all new positions.
Motor coaches, trolleys and luxury sedans service added $700,000 to
our payroll. We pulled employees from Niagara and Monroe Counties
to come work here. Some new business we helped create, Pan Am tours,
Herd About Buffalo, City of Light tour and Buffalo Architectural trolley tour.
- "We Care" University created new training positions to teach
individuals to get their Commercial Drivers License and then take
other courses to obtain higher paid positions. Free classes
offered; CDL, School Bus, Class B, Motor Coach , Chauffeur and Computer.
- Medical Division - Created new positions as senior demographics
and elderly living in homes skyrockets. Also answered HMO's and
adult day facilities coordinated transportation needs. Created new
Welfare to Work transports with Erie County Pivot Program and Greater
Buffalo Works.
- Administrative Positions - Our recent expansion has added ten
positions averaging $38,000 in annual salaries each, bringing us
to a grand total of 55 office staff.
- The local transportation industry is dominated by foreign
conglomerates such as Laidlaw and Coach USA who do not purchase
locally. We support local vendors - we purchased $1,600,000 from
an E. C. I. D. A. sponsored company, Gorman Bus to provide buses
for the Maryvale contract.
We Care - and it makes the difference!
